VENI Energy Group were one of the first major market participants to introduce documented environmentally friendly origin as the standard for electricity delivered to its customers.
For more than a decade we have led the way in providing sustainable energy solutions, and have converted more than 40 000 customers from high-emission to low-emission or renewable energy use. In 2024, we documented the delivery of more than 9 billion kWh of clean fossil-free power to our customers.
Together with our partners we enable our customers to achieve a positive sustainability impact through energy solutions that are affordable, accessible, and publicly supported. Our standard offering to customers is certified fossil-free energy, but we also include renewable energy in our product portfolio.

At VENI Energia, we believe that a sustainable future is built on concrete actions. Our mission is to reduce the harmful environmental impacts of energy use and accelerate the green transition by providing environmentally friendly energy solutions to our customers.
We encourage our customers to lower their carbon footprint by shifting to fossil-free or fully renewable energy sources. Currently, VENI Energia procures approximately 10% of Finland’s energy consumption, and we are committed to achieving 100% environmentally friendly energy procurement for our customers by 2030.
Sustainability and green values are the driving forces behind our daily operations. We strive to make sustainable, ecologically sound choices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our activities. In addition, we promote environmentally conscious practices through communication with both our employees and our customers. To support this, we have implemented the EcoCompass environmental management system, which enables us to systematically monitor our environmental initiatives and update our sustainability program with annual revisions.
